Hidden Springs yards are hillside yards

The neighborhood was adopted as Specific Plan 195 and sits entirely inside ZIP 92557. Zoning within the plan runs 40 percent Small Lot Residential, 28 percent Open Space, 15 percent R2 at two dwellings per acre and 14 percent Suburban Residential. That 15 percent R2 band is the part that matters when you are booking an inflatable. The General Plan defines R2 as suburban living on lots larger than what is commonly available in suburban subdivisions, and in practice those are the biggest and most private rear yards in north Moreno Valley. The awkward half of the picture is the ground itself. This is hillside land pressed against the Box Springs and Reche Canyon hills, so a good number of these yards are terraced or sloped rather than flat. A standard unit wants roughly 15 by 15 feet of level space, 3 to 5 feet of clearance on every side and a standard outlet within 100 feet. Grass gets stakes and concrete gets sandbags, but neither of those fixes a slope. Measure the flattest bench in the yard before you call and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.

Neither Hidden Springs park has a picnic shelter

The nearest reservable shelters are Shelter #47 at Shadow Mountain Park, a medium shelter for up to 120 people with restrooms, and Shelter #39 at Westbluff Park on Pigeon Pass Rd, a small shelter for up to 60 with restrooms. Both are outside the plan boundary. If the party lands closer to them than to your street, we run the same flat rate in Sunnymead Ranch and Sunnymead, so nothing about the price changes when you move down the hill. Give us the shelter number when you call and we will know which end of the site we are anchoring on.

Wind is a genuine constraint at this elevation

Inflatables and wind do not mix, and Hidden Springs is the highest and windiest part of the city, so the limit gets tested here more often than it does down on the valley floor. If the forecast turns genuinely unsafe we will tell you rather than set up and hope, and we will work with you on the date. That call is ours to make and we would rather lose a booking on Pigeon Pass Rd than put kids in a unit that is moving. The drive, the route and the driveway

The run north takes about 17 minutes over roughly 7 road miles, up Pigeon Pass Rd and onto Reche Vista Dr, into the pocket of streets around Hidden Springs Dr, Manzanita Ave and Old Lake Dr. If you are on Hidden Springs Dr near the elementary school at 9801 Hidden Springs Dr, we know exactly where you are. Box Springs Mountain Reserve Park, 1,155 acres of Riverside County open space off Pigeon Pass Rd with the lit M on the mountain, is the view behind most of these parties. Steep driveways are the other local detail worth raising on the phone. We carry units in by hand, and a steep drive with a gate at the top changes how long setup takes, so describe the approach when you book and we will build the extra minutes into the window rather than turning up short.
