Bounce house rentals in Bear Valley run about ten minutes from our shop on Pepper Court, and this is the part of Moreno Valley where the yard question usually answers itself. Half the zoning here puts homes on lots of roughly 7,200 square feet and another eighth of it is half-acre semi-rural ground, so Bear Valley holds a higher share of large, flat, fenced rear yards than any other built-out neighborhood in the city. Three parks in the neighborhood carry reservable shelters between them, which is more than most. The rate starts at $125 flat and covers delivery, setup, anchoring and takedown.
Bear Valley has the yards, and the zoning says so
Run the zoning for the block between Kitching St and Nason St, Cottonwood Ave up to Sunnymead Blvd, and 50.4 percent of it comes back R5 Suburban Residential, which puts homes on lots of roughly 7,200 square feet. Another 12.3 percent is RA2 Residential Agriculture at two dwellings per acre, so half-acre and larger semi-rural parcels. R2 accounts for 3.4 percent, and only 5.1 percent of that block is small-lot. Set it against Moreno Valley Ranch, where small-lot runs to 28 percent and Suburban Residential to 6, and you can see why a Bear Valley address gets a yes from us faster than almost anywhere else in the city. What the zoning buys you is width. A single castle wants 15 by 15 feet of level ground with three to five feet clear on every side, so measure about 25 by 25 and you have it. Stand a water slide next to that castle and you are asking for something closer to 50 feet across, and this is the neighborhood where that is a normal Saturday rather than an awkward phone call. A neighborhood with a real name and no official line
Bear Valley is a real estate neighborhood rather than a district the City drew. It has its own Redfin neighborhood page, a Homes.com guide, a NeighborhoodScout profile keyed to ZIP 92555 and its own Nextdoor, but it is not a census place and there is no official City boundary to point at. Compare that with Rancho Belago, which the City Council named by resolution in February 2007, and the difference is one of kind rather than degree. The name does carry real history. Moreno was founded on water brought in by Frank E. Brown's Bear Valley Land and Water Company from 1883, and the neighborhood keeps that name going. In plain terms, when we say Bear Valley we mean the block running from Kitching St east to Nason St, between Cottonwood Ave and Sunnymead Blvd, anchored on Fir Ave and Lasselle St. Rancho Belago picks up from about Nason St and runs east toward Moreno Beach Dr. Call your own street whichever name you like. It changes nothing about where we deliver or what we charge.
Three parks, nine shelters, and four of them at one site
The park families here name first is Weston Park at 13170 Lasselle St, and it is the reason a park booking in this neighborhood is easier than in most. Weston carries four separately bookable picnic shelters, numbered 41 to 44, each rated for 60 people, alongside restrooms, a playground, a walking path and barbecues. Four shelters on one site is rare here. Three parks in the whole city have four, and only Gateway Park has more. That is the difference on a Saturday in May when three families want the same afternoon: one shelter each, rather than one park and an argument. Weston's basketball court was re-muraled in 2021 with help from NBA player Kawhi Leonard and local volunteers, which is the detail the kids at your party already know. Two more parks sit in the neighborhood behind it. Windsong Park at 13970 Azure St holds Shelters #61 and #62, both small at 60 people each. Morrison Park at 26667 Dracaea Ave holds #25 and #26 small plus #27 medium at 120, with an outdoor amphitheatre on the site. That is nine reservable shelters across three parks, and 600 people of rated capacity if you took every one of them. Plan for two bookings rather than one. The shelter is reserved with the City, and a park event with a jumper in it needs a City permit as well, which the park permit rules set out in full.
What actually goes wrong on a half-acre Bear Valley lot
The big lots bring their own problem, and it is not space. On RA2 ground the flat, clear part of the parcel is often not the part beside the house. It is out past the shed, or the horse ground, or a stretch of decomposed granite that looks level until you walk it with a tape. The binding constraint at those addresses is almost never the footprint, it is the 100 feet from the blower back to a standard household outlet, and an extension run past that is not something we improvise on the morning. Pace it out before you call. Two units on one big lot is the other Bear Valley special. We are happy to bring a castle and a water slide to the same yard, but two blowers on one household circuit is how people find out what that circuit is rated for, so we want them on separate outlets and we would rather hear about it at booking than at half past ten on the day. Surface decides the anchoring: lawn takes stakes, a slab or a driveway takes sandbags, and dirt or decomposed granite takes stakes rather than weight.
Ten minutes, and the ZIP line that runs through the middle
From the shop at 15167 Pepper Ct it is 3.8 miles to Bear Valley, and we quote ten minutes rather than eight because a trailer on Alessandro Blvd at nine on a Saturday is not the same vehicle as a car at noon. The run is east along Alessandro, then north on Kitching St or Lasselle St depending which end you are. Most of what we deliver here lands on the streets between Cottonwood Ave and Alessandro Blvd: Fir Ave, Dracaea Ave, Eucalyptus Ave and the cross streets off Morrison St. If you are giving directions by phone, the Senior Community Center at 25075 Fir Ave and the Moreno Valley Public Library Main Branch at 25480 Alessandro Blvd are the two landmarks we know without looking them up. One thing that catches people out on the booking form is that the ZIP line runs straight through this neighborhood. The Kitching side reads 92553, the Lasselle side reads 92555, and a neighbor two streets over can genuinely be in the other one. We deliver to both, and the ZIP does not touch the rate.
Flat rate, no per-child charge, and no food
The price does not move with the guest list. A rental starts at $125 as a flat figure for the unit and the day, with delivery, setup, anchoring and takedown inside that rather than added after. We have never charged per child and there is no overage fee, so a party that grows from fifteen to forty once the class group chat hears about it costs what it was quoted. What does move the number is which unit you take, how long you keep it and how far the trailer drives, so we price it on the phone. Call or text 844-953-0494. One limit we hold whatever the booking says: if the wind forecast turns genuinely unsafe we move your date instead of setting up and hoping, and on the open ground out toward Nason St there is very little to break a gust. Food we do not touch at all. Catering goes to Garcia's Catering, a separate business that cooks it and invoices you direct, and the kids party catering page explains the arrangement. Will a bounce house fit in a Bear Valley back yard?
More often than anywhere else we deliver. Half of this neighborhood is zoned R5 at around 7,200 square feet a lot, and a further eighth is RA2 at two dwellings to the acre, which is half-acre ground and upwards. Measure 25 by 25 feet of level, clear space to hold a standard 15 by 15 unit and the three to five feet of clearance it needs on each side. On the semi-rural lots the space is rarely what decides it. Check instead that the flat part sits within 100 feet of a standard outdoor outlet, because that is the constraint we hit here.
Can I put a bounce house in Weston Park?
Yes, with two separate bookings made in good time. Weston Park at 13170 Lasselle St holds Shelters #41 to #44, four small shelters rated at 60 people each and bookable individually, with restrooms, a playground and barbecues on site. The shelter itself goes through the City. A park event that includes a jumper also needs a City permit, and the City's parks page says that application has to be in at least 90 days before the date with no exceptions, so start it early and pass us the shelter number when you call. On plenty of Bear Valley lots, yes, and this is one of the few neighborhoods where we do not have to talk you out of it. Two 15 by 15 units side by side, each with its clearance, want roughly 50 feet across of level ground. What we also need is two separate outlets, since two blowers on one household circuit will find the limit of that circuit for you.
